Is AAOIFI Prep affiliated with AAOIFI?
No. AAOIFI Prep is an independent preparation platform. It is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, AAOIFI.
Which certificates can I prepare for?
You can practise for CPSS (Shari'ah Standards), CPFAS (Financial Accounting Standards) and CPAAGE (Audit, Assurance, Governance and Ethics). Choose a certificate from the Tests menu to see its tests.
What is the difference between topic, full and mock tests?
Topic tests focus on one standard or subject. Full tests cover the whole certificate syllabus. For topic and full tests you choose 1, 2 or 3 hours, or no limit. Mock tests always last 3 hours, like the real exam, and are submitted automatically when time runs out.
What happens if I close the browser during a test?
Your answers are saved as you go, so you can return and continue where you left off. For timed tests the clock keeps running, and the test is submitted automatically when time is up.
How is my score calculated?
Each question is worth 1 to 10 points. Your score is the percentage of points you earn, and you pass when you reach the test's pass mark. Wrong or unanswered questions score 0; there is no negative marking.
Can I retake a test?
Yes, unless a test sets an attempt limit, which is shown on the test page. Every attempt is kept in your results so you can see your progress.
